The site map has many potential problems since it doesn’t have any arrows telling us what goes where, on the brighter note it makes some sense. I like the way it matches my one and all the pages link to the homepage, Remy’s sitemap also links all the pages to the home page, and mans, woman and the accessories are on a different page (i.e. They are linked through the product page) which in my opinion is very essential since it would make the designs better and easier to use by everyone. I’ll ask Abdul and see if he may consider making the page like that in order make it that way. We should not change this.
Looking back to my graph I feel that we need to further discuss, from where we should consider putting the registration page as Remy’s and Abdul’s suggests that it should be a link from the home page where as I think it should be in the log in page. After a short rethink I think that we should make it from the home page just as Remy’s design. Yet Remy’s design does not show a line going back to the home page which I think is important so the users can go to the home page.
At this point I would like to add that in future designs we should be use colour to draw such sitemaps, this way it would make the whole the graph more comprehendible.
We have agreed the Product, About Us, Contact, log in, software download, website policy and accounts page the user will be able to access them from every where.
I have emailed Abdul and Remy asking them what they think may be right thing to do.
